I specialize in Police packages and installations.  Is there any one else out there in this line of work.  I am considering expanding into audio, video, etc...

Hi, I worked, at a company called Police Video Systems out of springfield missouri. i started out helping a friend out with some engineering on a handful of systems that was not working in southern alabama. One thing led to another and i set up an assembly line. Then came coast to coast installs and service, to cut it short, our last year in business we did almost 4 million in sales. So you probably wonder why im not fishing on table rock today in my 21 ft 2004 Triton right? It seems the owner thought it necessary to own a super bike racing team, we went broke in  a year. I would love to get back into the busines in this area. After PVS closed a co. in amirillo tx wanted me to move there and take thier camera division over, they had a great system, 360  degree view around car and was putting video on disc in glove box.(pretty big in 1996) We had a trunk mounted vcr in a locked case, cam under rv mirror and monitor in a control box mounted in cieling above rv mirror, or `floor between seats. We made dash cams too. It was a good offer but i hated amirillo it sucked .  Id like to hear about or see ur system. Latley ive been making relay systems for limos and rewiring some boats.  I make custom backlit micro switch control panels for boats limos and classic cars too. well gotta run later

I am an installer for an emergency vehicle equipment outfitter. Are you talking about getting into audio/video for emergency vehicle use (such as eyewitness, cruise cam, mobile vision, school bus systems, etc) or for personal use (such as DVD players, LCD displays, play station, etc). I work at a pretty high volume shop. What type of questions do you have? Maybe I can help. Also anyone else with emergency vehicle equipment questions, let me know.
