I have one 8-Ohm 10" SVC RF sub (its twin just got a nice sized hole punched into it) if I buy another 10" sub rated at 4-Ohm can I wire the two subs together and get a 4-Ohm load. I only have a RF 401s amp and it only pushes about 400 RMS @ 4-Ohm. I really don't want to have to purchase another amp.

You'll have to go with another 8 ohm sub, and, wired parallel, end up with a 4 ohm bridged load.  If you were to connect a 4 ohm with an 8 ohm, one sub will be twice as loud as the other one, and you'll not be able to get the sound right.  Why do you ask about a 4 ohm sub?  Good deal or something?
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually managed to fix the damaged surround on the sub, so Im alright for now. As for asking about a 4-ohm, Yeah I found a deal or two on some nice comp 10" subs. But I think I will hold off till the HE2s bite the dust.
