Is it possible to make your own ground when armed output? Reason is because I own a 2001 Mit. Eclipse with stock alarm with the Crimestopper RS900-IV. For those that arent familiar thats just the remote start and keyless entry, no alarm. Now... I won this 516T (voice module) off ebay, but I cant get it to work correctly. I dont have the diagram nor can I find it. But I think I remember that I needed a ground when armed output wire in order for it to work....

So is it possible to make your own ground when armed wire?

A 516t ?? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you cant do anything with that. That voice module can only be used with the Viper 800 series alarms. It comes with a small 3 pin data cable that plugs up to the viper brain. The brain sends all the messages to the voice module thru this cable. The voice module you need to properly work with ANY alarm is either a 516U or a 516L. The 516U can hook up to any alarm via the ground when armed wire. So can the 516l, except the 516l has a built in megaphone and you record your own messages (vulgar if you want).

Try the yellow/black -third ignition or anti grind/starter disable wire. Program it as a starter disable and it should work.

I'm sorry, the one I'm talking about with the data cable is the 516M. Never heard of a 516t. Was it used? Does it look like it might be an older model?
