I am looking for information (pinout functions, etc) for the RAP module that Ford uses in the 2004 F150 keyless entry (keypad or remote). I want to be able to engineer a way to disarm my non-Ford (Astrostart) alrm system if I enter the correct keypad code or use the factory Ford remote fob. Obviously now if I try to use the keypad to enter the truck I trip the alarm.

I have seen another post where it was stated this cannot be done. However, no explanation as to precisely why. If anyone has details about the RAP module can you post them or provide a link. I will provide any solutions I discover here as I can't be the only one who wants to solve this puzzle.

The units we install tap into a few extra wires so that the following happens:
1. Door keypad both arms and disarms the aftermarket alarm.
2. Factory keyfob arms and disarms the aftermarket alarm.
3. Interior lock switch arms aftermarket alarm but doesn't disarm it.
If your module doesn't have a disarm wire or arm wire there isn't going to be a lot you can do..The units we install made by Code Alarm have all the necessary wires to do what you want.

you should just be able to tap into the motor wires.
