Does anyone know where I would find the domelight supervision wire for a 1997 Chevy K1500? I am trying to hook it up because when they installed it they never hooked it up. I know on the alarm it gets connected to H1/4 -200mA domelight supervision output. Thanks

you will take the wire from the alarm and wire it to a relay. then it will hook up to your door trigger wire....

i think you have a neg door trigger on that truck.

if the output wire from the alarm is neg. then wire it like this:

86 12 volts fused (10 amp)

85 wire from alarm

87 ground

30 to dome light wire (truck's door trigger wire)

What type of alarm are you using? Most come with a dome light supervision wire that you need to connect to your door trigger wire.

It is a Clifford Matrix RS2. When I connect that relay, and disarm my system, the interior light will come on correct? Will that cause the alarm to think that I opened a door? If so would that mess up the automatic arming of the alarm? Thanks

it will turn on the dome light... the rearm will start working after the dome light turns off...should be 30 arming timer
