i have four different speaker wires.  the green and black wires are attached to the factory speakers.  how do i install four separate speakers.  should i use the other red and grey wires or what?  my car is a 1992 chrysler lebaron.

First off figure out what those red and grey wires do, they might not be speaker wires at all. If you want to hook up more speakers than u have wire you can always splice them to a wire already in the car. The ideal thing to do , however, is to buy a small amp and hook your speakers to that.

ive seen this in several cars.  it can be for two things...one: it could be two of the wires going to a crossover and two going to the voice coil...or two: it could be two wires going to the mid voice coil, and the other two going to the tweeter voice coil.  either way, find the wires going to the voice coil and run them to the new speaker.  as for the other two wires, just tape them up
