I only need maybe 3ft x 3ft piece of black speaker cloth, but I know if some places only sell sealed packages I'm stuck buying a full package. no biggoe either way.

Have you tried to bring in a small sample to a fabric store ? I've gone to the local fabric store and did the same thing and they had an identical fabric for 1/4 the cost.

i just need some reg. black grill cloth, I'm not matching it, I just don't like the visible silver dynamat that can be seen through the stock door panels :)

In that case, just go to the local fabric store to get some stretchy material that you like.
