hey guys i have been installing a remote start, i checked the wire data base for my tach wire and when im testing it(with a DMM)i barely get readings, i get stuff in hundreths of volts in ac mode. According to the diagram information it should be the PURPLE / white wire  behind the dash

The V6 tach is PURPLE / white at the coil pack on the top rear of the motor. The 4 cylinder tach wire is white in a 16 pin plug on the top right side of the motor.
