I have a 2001 chevy silverado.. with crimeguard 533i3 installed. I also have an omega remote starter. My question has 2 parts. I installed a on off valet switch for my remote start so if i am working on it it wont just start up, but I didn't connect the neutral safety wire because i dont know where it is or what it looks like. Does anyone hook these up or is it not necessary?
Also. I did not install a hood pin switch yet i am planning too.. is it necessary ? If so does anyone know if I will have to drill a hole for it?
thanks ahead of time everyone!

You will need the hood pin switch.  It is a killswitch for remote start, it works the same way the brake switch works.   Not sure on the neutral safety wire
Do it right the first time

I'm assuming its a automatic.. For those I usually ground the neutral safety wire.. hard to leave it in gear on accident..

is it an omega RS4LX remote start??
it should have come with a on/off switch.
they make brackets that you can use so you dont have to drill any holes......use the hood switch.......
Good Luck
