I am working on building a new system mostly for sound quality.  The last component is the amp for my 12" Infinfity Kappa Perfect sub.  It is only the single voicle coil, and I would like to run it at 4 ohms.  There are too many choices of amps, so I am looking for more opinions.  Right now I am looking at PPI, Directed, Audiobahn, and possibly the new Infinity amps.  I am looking for low THD.  Also, anyone have any experience with the new Infinity amps?... I havent heard one in a car yet.

I am an installer at a 12 volt store, so I get can get these all at a discount.  Mostly I am just worried about what brand.  I also should have mentioned I am going to get a matching 4 channel.

Any of the Directed brands are good quality clean amps.  The new Infinity amps are similar to the new JBL Power line and are very nice.  I'd steer away from Audiobahn, but that's just my personal opinion.

In MY OPINION I would get the sony xm-2200gtx.

In MY OWN OPINION I like the amp. It has a decent sound quality.

Good lucky with your decision.

I would suggest steering away from audiobahn.  JBL, JL Audio and Power Acoustick all make quality amps.
