hi, i cant seem to find the tap in this picture..

only taps i find are the one with 3 wires

i want this one so i can disconnect/connect easyier

exausally i want the one that kinda looks like that but its a female tap...so i can stick a male in anytime

Yuck ! I hate those T-Taps, they are nothing but trouble under the dash especially if they disconnect or accidentally short out when it touches metal. Stay away from these and if you want to have a quick disconnect, solder a wire with a nylon female end that is out of the way of the frame of the car, this way you know it won't short anything.

i just need it to tap into siren wire of bros car which is being sold so i can test my siren output

by no means iam i going to do it to a car i will keep:)

In that case, just strip back some of the inulation of the wire and run a jumper wire from the siren to the CPU of the alarm.

can you explain alittle more?

how would i strip some of the insulation of wire/.

also jumper wire from the siren to cpu?

can i just leave the ground whre it is and just jumper wire the siren(bros car) to my cpu(my)

if you take the red wire from the siren and go to the battery, it will trigger the alarm. if you want to test the siren in a different car using your alarm, then you will need to tap both, red and black wires from your car to the one that you want to test. you will need both positive and neg. from the same car.

if you dont understand the info above, explain to us what you are trying to do.....

Just connect jumper cables (for jump starting a dead battery) from your car's body to your brother's car body for ground. Then run your alarm brain's siren output to the red wire of your brother's siren. Just strip back the red insulation and temporarily wrap the wire around the copper to test it. Don't mess with T-taps and connectors. Then just use electrical tape to wrap his bare wire back up when your done testing.

The ground will be provided because his siren is grounded to the body of his car (Jumpered from one car to the other) and yours is grounded from the alarm brain's wiring harness to your car.

I still think you just have a funky sounding siren.
