neon bulb broken?

I previously installed 3 neon lights to my car. 2 sides and one in the back
After i was with everything
I flipped the switch to on. and all went on.
about 5 secs. the the one in the back went off.
if there was a short woudln't it casuse the fuse to burn?
the fuse is a 15a small agu fuse.
what could be the problem?

simple u have to put one side of the fuse holder first to positive 12v the other side u put to one of the  side of the pin switch remember u cant put ground to one of the side of the pin switch.so now u got power frm the switch the other pin of the switch u put positive frm the neon lights next u ground the neons lights  buy itself  that should work.remember never put ground to ur switch . switch is used as power only. that should work.

FOr the ground wire of each neon light bulb, i just wrapped it around a single wire. and that single wire i wrapped it around the Negative Terminal of the battery.
That would be the same correct?

yeah u can wrapped it around as a single ground wire but i would put it to chasis ground dont put it to -battery

yes unless u damage the neon light u got to get a new one

How can i tell if the bulb is broken or theres a connection within that wire?
