i want to use some of my many amps and subs in my home since they are sitting in my garage doing nothing. i took a pc inverter soldered off all the 5v's and used only the 4 18 gauge 12v's and the 8 18 guage grounds. i was wondering so not to exceed the amprage rating of the wire could i use a capacitor or a battery and allow the inverter to charge it.... and if so would a battery or cap be best. i didnt know if hooking a battery up in series would work because wouldnt a constant 12v be going to the battery when it is possible it doesnt need it. im not sure.... suggestions please.
thanks

Probably will not work. What is the amperage output of the power supply? If it is high enough you would want a battery not a cap.
