You can run just the subs with a mono amp.  Use a stereo 2 channel amp for the 6x8's.  Post up models for the amp and subs, pls.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

You must be trying to lower the total impedence by adding the 6x 8's in with the subs.  That is not the way to go.  You have equipment that is ill-matched.  The amp is rated to 2 ohms, not to 1.5.  You will have to wire the subs in series for 12 ohms each, and connect to amp for a 6 ohm load, giving the subs maybe 350 watts combined.

DVC 6 ohm subs should be matched with an amp rated to 1 ohm, when you're using two of them.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

With your DVC subs wired in parallel for 3 ohms each, you could connect a sub to each channel of that amp.  This amp provides more power than the other one you listed, and should drive those speakers with some gusto.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
