Hi everyone,

I was just reading an old post, and i am curious about this phrase from it:

"but we ended up tripping the BCM and had to reset the computer to get the dome light to operate correctly again"

What does 'tripping the BCM mean exactly?  How do u know when this happens?  How do u reset it?  This has never happened to me, but it may be handy information, in case it ever does.

thanks,

auex

By tripping I think he meant messed up somehow. Basic reset is to unplug the battery/fuse for 15 minutes and then reconnnect.
