Hi, I'm going to be installing an amp tomorrow in a 2001 Dodge ram 1500. I was thinking about putting it under the passenger seat. I've installed stereos/amps before, but never done one under a seat.
1) I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to get the passenger seat out.
2) Also any advice on how to get the carpet up to run the wire under would be useful too :) Hoping it simple as taking off the plastic peices in the door way and pulling it up, but never worked on this vehicle before and hoping someone has here.
Thanks!

i dont know about your model, but in my case.. a honda, the passanger seat has 2 rails mounted to the floor. There should be a bolt on each end of those rails, some of the bolt might be hidden by a snap-on plastic "thingy". just loosen those bolts and pull the seat out.
