If I have 2 amps, and run a remote turn on lead (blue wire) from the HU to amp #1. What do you typically do to add amp #2 in the mix, do you just jumper over a wire from amp #1's remote turn on to amp #2? I wouldn't think you need to run a whole new remote turn on from the HU, just trying to find how this is typically done.

you can daisy chain amps like you are saying. but only to a point. with your two amps your head unit will have no problem but after several amps, crossover, eq's etc. you would need to add a relay.

I agree with Ketel22, but I prefer to run seperate wires from the HU.just a quirk.

If you experience a turn on thump adding a relay can also help in that department. I use a relay all the time now, even if I am only using one amp.

I agree with Ravendarat, I would use a relay when using multiple amps.
