no

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

i don't think so it depends how they set up the comp but it should have been way out of your class unless he was using the same amount of power you were or somethin, i'm not too sure on compitetion stuff

Hey! When I went to competition I had the Kameleon Deck
1-12" Kove Armageddon Z
1-400x US Amp
1-US X2 Crossover
and yeah that's it.. lol that was in a 93 Grand Am with NO insulation at all.. I hit 147.5.. I was hella impressed :o).. The only thing that happened to the sub was the glue separated because I didn't let it break it before I slammed on it at competition.. So.. I decided that it wasn't loud enough.. If the weather lets up I am going to a competition tonite to see what I hit on a daily basis with some rap music just to mess around.. This is with my new setup.. Listed below! I just wasn't satisfied with 147.. I gotta be louder :o).. Now I have a 96 Blazer.. Let ya know what I hit today if I go!!!

Just so you don't get to disapointed, your score can greatly depend on the meter they use.  Audio Control mics (like they used to use) usually give much higher readings than the new Termlab mics.  Because of the swtich, most people dropped 10 dB.  That's why you see a lot of the top players in the 165 range now, when they used to do consistant 172's.  So if you come back with a lower score than last time, don't be disapointed.  It's probably the meter used.
