Is there anyone out there who has a CV sub? I heard them, the CV speakers in a home system once and nothing came close to it in quality and loudness. I should say awesome was too little a word to describe it. I was wondering if it is same in the car audio world as well. I'm now looking for a real (real) good sub and/or amp.

CV holds a much better place in home systems than in mobile audio. and personally i like CV's older stuff to their newer speakers.

Thanks for the info. That clears my search for CVs for my vehicle.

CV makes real decent home, car and pro speakers.  They are in the process of redoing their car line, and their lastest speakers are impressive.  They have won more competition and awards in car audio than in home, just finding the car stuff is a little harder.

Always willing to post a pic of my CV sub...and it sounds really good.  But then, markcars, I might have liked that Alpine type R too!

I didn't realize it only shows up on my computer.  Guess I can't figure out how to do it.

You may have to upload the file from your C:\documents and Settings\Steve's documents\My Pictures\Web\DSC00001.jpg onto this site by clicking on the third icon from the right. It is the icon that says "Upload Image" when you put the mouse on it and wait for about half a second. (We call that a bubble or a "ToolTip").

Thanks. That looks like one kick ass machine. Where did you get the speaker grills from? I like the bars you got. And is that a 12 or 15 inch? I can't tell by looking. And how deep is the box?
Looks very good.
I'll try asking my local shop to demo me a CV if they have one.
