Thanks for the compliment.  Parts Express sells the grill bars, and they are very heavy-duty.   The sub is 12", the box is 10.25" deep, 15" at the high point, 8" at the low point,18.5" at the base, 8" of flat top.  Air with speaker is .88 ft^3.  Not many people would take this sub seriously for SQ; it's priced quite low.  But I like the sound, and 200 watts rocks my car all I need.  I put the angle on the box to fit deep into the trunk, and it fires from the side into the center of the trunk.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Nice subs, i run 4 12's of the same model, though it is CV's entry line speaker, very clean sound, tight and great response. Our shop deals CV, and I chose these because I wanted a sealed enclosure, as I listen to rock, and I like the tightness of a sealed enclosure vs. the looseness and boominess of a ported. But the new VMAX subs can be used in either.

never went under. I don't know where that would have come from, lol, The guy that designed the Stroker is now an engineer for Fosgate, but that is among the biggest of any changes.

I know that as a company we dropped them because the Cerwin was, as they said, "In Financial Peril" meaning that if someone didnt buy in they were going under. Obviously the peril wasnt that serious or someone bought in. Im pretty sure that a company that big isnt gonna be able to hide its numbers from a chain as large as FS so I am guessing on the buy in option

Cerwin Vega was closed for 2 hours to confirm inventory.  They were sold to Stanton Audio (ya, of the cartrige fame), it seems to fit well with their other "pro audio" and allows for divertions into home and car.   S.F. Marketing in Montreal is the Canadian distributor.
