will i need a capacitor for my system. I hear the head lights dim if you dont have one.

you can install the system and see what happens my system is just fine without one

I gotta point out that that amp with those subs is a piss poor match. Pardon the bluntness of my comment but its true.Now I know you are asking yourself, Rat why would you say that and in response I say because the amp is not two ohm mono stable and thats how those subs should be wired up. Since it cannot handle this load you will have to run it at 4 ohm stereo which means at very best you will get 100 watts rms per sub. Thats gonna leave those subs grossly underpowered. Its like the French Invading the USA. They can do it but its only a matter of time until the methods produce undesired results. Also you shouldnt need a cap becuase that amp wont draw enough current to do any major suffication. I think the max draw on those things is like 40 amps or so, if thats the case then you should be fine.

so should i just send back the amp and get a better one? I need you to explain all the ohm stuff to me and max draw, i was lost when you said all that.

i have 2 mtx thunder 8000's running off 2 pioneer 760 watt amps (gm-x862) i have one sub hooked up to each amp
