i actually did that a while back... it didnt do anything... the LED bulb didnt light all the way... so i thought it was the bulb and replaced it with another LED bulb in parallel with an incondecent... still does it.

BTW, why does the tach wire need to be hooked up now that I installed the LED Side markers?
and i still have no idea why, even when putting in parallel with an incondectent, those 1157 LED's dont work correctly.

Aren't the 1156 bulbs single filament and 1157 double filament? If this is the case, the other half of the LED bulb is not making connection in the socket. You will probably need to change the socket out to fit 1157 bulbs.
I could be mistaken though.
As far as the remote starter, I do believe the tach needs to be hooked to it for it to work right.

yes the 1156 are single (which is what i have installed in the side marker lights, they work perfectly)
and the 1157 are dual filiment (which i installed into the stock 1157 socket [brake / running light location]) and these 1157's are creating a problem.
they do not light entirely... yes i did hit the brake to see what they did... they did nothing.    i made sure the connections were all good... and they are.
i cant figure this one out! :(
