ohm is the resistance value placed on the sub. Its the electrical load that the sub will place on the amp. Generally the lower the load, the hard it is on the amp. If your subs have one voice coil each, meaning they only have one set of terminals on the sub, then in all likley ness they are 4 ohm subwoofers. When You go to wire these up to an amp you are gonna connect both positive leads off the sub to the positive on the amp and Likewise with the negatives. You have to watch though because on some amps you have inputs for speaker A and B if its a mono block. If thats the case then the amp is bridged internally and you must hook up one sub to speaker A and one sub to speaker B. As I said in your other tread I think I would look around at a JBL 1200.1 for your setup. It can be found in your price range off ebay and is a generally solid amp with alot of power.
