1. how do you run wires through a car.  i mean how do you get it through headliner, carpet, or doorjambs?

2. has nayone installed a police scanner in a car/truck under the seat?  if so do you like it there or owuld you have tried to pick a different place?  thanks

well...you can go through vehicles firewall(the metal between you and the engine)

usually trough pre-existing rubber gromet*...or drill a hole for proper size wire you are running...doors...most vehicles will have wires already running into door through rubber tunnels protecting from outside conditions...in each kick panel you should see access to these spots...carpet...hmmmm...several ways coat hanger ...they make a tool w/ retractable claw...soo just take tool (long,skinny rod) push it under carpet to desired spot,push lever,claw will grab wires, and pull...pull the seats out will usually make running wires easier...as far as the scvanner be creative...i know there are several different models soooo/...hope this helps?

thank you.  how o you run wires through the door jamb?  also the sanner is going to be a bc560xlt.
