I need ideas on an amp or amps to run 2 RE XXX 15's in a sealed box. I'm not looking to hit the highest spl that I can. I just want whatever level of spl comes with these as long as the sq is tight. I do listen to my systems loud and will be running a set of those new RE XXX 6.5" components once they come out. since I'm thinking of running the 6.5's with a Zapco 350.2 would 1100watts from the Zapco reference 1100.1 be enough for both. Or would I be better off going cheaper and getting 2 Hifonics Brutus bx1500d's.

I have also looked at the JBL BPX2200.1. If I did that one I might run the BX600.2 for the comp set.
Anyone? Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for sound quality, then you are in the right direction with Zapco. The SQ of a Zapco versus the others is tremendous, The Reference 1100.1, has alot of punch in it, I am sure you will get the SPL you are looking for possibly more than you expect. But I can't make the decision for you as I don't know exactly what you are looking for and what kind of budget you are trying to stay around, but if the budget isn't the issue, I would go with Zapco.

Only one problem. I believe the subs I am getting are dual 2ohms. The Zapco is only rated down to 2ohms. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I can wire them to run at a 2ohm load. Wait, if I wire each sub in series and then parallel would that be 2ohm? I mean series would make them each 4ohm and then run in parallel to eachother then to the amp....2ohm load??
