I just bought a Visonik V3909 amp to push two Audiobahn AW1200Q's, but have one question. Does anyone know what the "Variable Phase Control" knob on the amp is? It ranges from 0-180 degrees, & the manual just states it's used to "adjust the phase of the subwoofers", but what does that mean? Thanx in advance.

it shifts the phase of the output sine-wave up to 180 degrees (inverted)
read the following:

speakers being "in phase" means that they all move in and out at the same time, in sync. this is dependant on the direction the speaker faces as well in relation to the listener's position.
