I was wondering if this Crunch Blackmaxx amp is a good product.

Is this actually a 750W amp or is it overrated like so many other amps seem to be?

All I know is that I finally junked a Crunch "250" watt amp for my Xtant 200 watt amp for my sub and there was a world of improvement.  It sounds much cleaner and under control.  I actually think I was listening to some audible distortion before with the Crunch.  And while it sounded OK on some songs, when there was a musical peak it got muddy and lost control.

The fuse rating on the Crunch was 15amp.  The fuse rating on the Xtant was 30amp.  Was the Crunch overrated?  Probably.  Having said that, I bought it in 1996 and still works.

Just my experience, take it for what it's worth.  :-)

Thanks guys, are their any amps in the same price range as that amp that put out as many watts? Im looking for a inexpensive amp to push 2 12" subs. I havent decided on the subs yet, but they are probably going to be 300-400 RMS.

Pyle, crunch, etc.  300W RMS?  I don't think so.  I would take thier "RMS" rating and divide by two.

shaman, haha, thats about what I do, but I tend to divide by 3. Either that, or look at the fuses they use. 10 amp = 100 watts tops, 20 amps = 200 watts, etc. good luck man.
