s-10 lights?

OK I have a 1989 Chev s-10 and the front side markers on the drivers side wont light up. Also the dash displays the drivers side signal light it on solid. The other lights work perfectly fine, including the drivers side signal but the side markers will not work. I checked out and replaced the bulbs and tried to trace through the wiring as much as possible but I still cant find a problem. Anyone have any Ideasdouble-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer

If you light on the dash stays on and dose not blink, normaly means the bulb not working. you say you already replace the bulb, did you repalce with a bulb that you knows works, or u just bought new ones off the self, brand new bulbs could be bad, trying and replace it with a bulb that you know works. Also check the conectors itself may be burt out or shorted some were. Kyle

The socket itself might be bad. They corrode and cause an internal short in the socket. I had a 82 S-10 and had to replace 2 sockets over the time I had it.
