Does anyone know anything about these subs? I love the look of them, but I want to know if they sound very good. I want to build a system using all blaupunkt, unless of course they totally suck. Please be serious with your replies, if you don't have anything intelligent to say about blaupunkt or the subs please save it.

I personally like Blaupunkt speakers and heads.  I think they sound very musical and clear for the price.

Do you think 4 of their TSw1200 12" subs will hit good? They are rated at 200W RMS/600W max. And how much power shoul I run into them? I was gona go with an 800w amp, but if they can handle more, I want more.

If you're looking for SPL they are probably not the best choice.  But yes, four of them with 800 watts is a good match and they will sound really good.  But like I said, if what you want is to "hit hard" then you're talking to the wrong guy because I don't do SPL... and you probably have the wrong subs too.

Unfortunately I am on an extremely tight budget (I have a wife and 9 month old daughter and I am living off the navy's poor excuse for a paycheck).... Are there subs out there that boom good for a good price?
