my fuse keeps busting and its probably because it was only 50 amps and then i tried a 60 it blew too. When i was looking to buy more i saw the agu like mine seem to not even come close to the power of anl is this true or am i just not looking hard enough? Before i buy more i was wondering if i should just get a anl fuse holder and just get anl fuses from now on, any opinions

AGU's are only rated to 60 amps ( although one company makes 80's )  ANL's start at 60 and go to about 250 amps

you just have to chose the proper fuse/fuseholder based on your application

strange.. i've never seen them that high... not surprising since the AGU fuse holders are only rated to 60 amps of current...at which point they start to melt...   whereas most GOOD quality ANL holders are made from Bakelite or a similar composite which can withstand far greater heat requirements

actually i would want to ascertain what the current draw for your application SHOULD be, then see if you are under fusing it or if you have a problem somewhere... dont just bump the fuse up blindly without doing some diagnosis.....

im almost completely positive that the fuse was to weak because i have 2 pioneer amps 760 watts each and a rf 401s then i unhooked the 401s and hooked up a power800a2 in its place and thats y it blew so i dont see any other reason unless the 800a2 wasnt good since it wasnt mine i was just testing it

im guessing you have a 4ga wiring going from the battery to the amps. if so you should probally have near a 100amp fuse.

If you are gonna run all those amps you should be replacing your power wire or at least running a dedicated 4 gauge wire for the 800.2.
