as far as i know, the 96 doesnt have passlock

where can i find relays, and the 555l, for instance a retail store.

PONTIAC SUNFIRE 1996 - NOTE: This vehicle has a the PASSLOCK I key based engine disabling system. Use DEI part number 555t or 555L to bypass during remote start.

hmm, you learn something new every day. cavaliers and sunfires from 1995+ all have passlock I or II.

you can buy relays and the 555L (the 555T is outdated) at best buy.
