Question about 2000 Malibu Door Locks

Ok, I ordered a 6500esp just over a week ago (still hasn't come in), a 555L, and a handful of relays. I had my door panels off this weekend working on door pods and I took a look at my door lock switches. Each switch had 5 wires going into to it. In the posts I've read, it seems like people recommend the Actuators/Reverse Polarity diagram for the door locks, but do I need to use the 5 wire alternating positive diagram?

Not sure what #202 referes to, but is it either of these [url]https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page4.asp#sppbdl[/url] [url]https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#3wp[/url] The info in the database says that the lock types are 3-wire positive and the door types are negative (not really sure what this means)

your door locks are 3 wire positive and your door trigger is neg. the door trigger is what turns on the dome light when you open the door....Good Luck

I assume you are referring to this post: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=33889&KW=mears However, nowhere in that post did anyone mention the type of door lock. Also, I still had some confusion regarding locks and triggers, which was cleared up thanks to draasch.
