These subs will be going in a 2.25 cu ft ported box. Need a sub that has a displacement of .06-.08 to get to the recommend cu ft of the box. I will be giving it 300 rms at 2 ohms so need a sub that is DVC 4 ohm. Ive been looking at so many subs now im gonna ask yall what yall think. I listen to mostly rap,R&B,country and some rock. IM mainly looking for spl becasue I will be adding a nice set of 3 ways up front so that will give me the highs that I want so the sub will mainly be used for spl.

Since you listen to a variety of music, you want a sub that will perform equally well in all applications.  I have an Alpine Type R and I love it.  It sounds awesome no matter what I'm listening to.  It hits very hard and remains a good Sq sub.  Some other subs that fall into this category are Infinity Kappa Perfect, All JL Audio, Adire Shiva, and most Pheonix Gold.  If you want to shell out a little more $$-Eclipse or Diamond.  If you want SPL check out anything Kicker(except Comp), RF, Audiobahn or Power Accoustic.

300 watts RMS isn't going to be able to get a brahama moving. And it dosn't murder W7s, they are both comparable subs. The Shiva would be a better choice.

but the shiva is dual 8 ohm, so he would need 2 of them.

He said subs in his post, so I thought he would be using two.
