installed and now the truck will NOT go in 1st gear, the tow/haul does not work &

the Battery light stays on with the digital mileage. Neither will cut off.

The alarm works and the remote start works.......just the 1st 2 things I'm having problems with.

I had this same problem with an Avalanche about 2 yrs ago, and can't remember how we fixed it.

(I bought alarm off of ebay...... fm 2009 version 2.0.)

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

double check and see if you have all of the ign wires hooked up...

Constant 12 volts RED & RED / WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition 12 volts PINK IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Starter YELLOW IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Dome Light TAN(DR) GRY/BLK(PASS) PS (-) AT B.C.M. UNDER DRIVERS DASH *

Trunk Pin Switch N/A

Parking Lamp L BLUE (+) AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Power Lock L BLUE AT B.C.M. BELOW THE STEERING COLUMN

Power Unlock WHITE IN BROWN CONNECTOR #202

* TAN (-) In Connector On The Right Covers Driver Door Only. GRAY/BLACK (-) Connector On The Middle Cover Passengers Door. Diode Isolation Needed, Cathode (Band) Side Of Diode Faces OEM Wires. #202 - See Positive Pulse Door Lock Diagram.

Remote Start

Tach Signal WHITE FOR THE V-8 AT THE P.C.M. * #238

Ignition #2 WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS #216

Ignition #3 ORANGE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS (HEAT/AC)

Accessory BROWN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Neutral Safety NOT GROUNDING TYPE - OEM SWITCH OPENS STARTER CIRCUIT

Brake Light WHITE (+) AT SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL

Reverse Light L GREEN (+) DRIVERS KICK PANEL

Rear Window Defrost N/A

* Power Control Module Located At The Left Front Of The Engine Compartment Pin 10 of the 80 pin connector. WHITE-For The V-6 At The Coil On Top Of The Engine. Glow Plug Wire(LT BLUE) At Engine Control Module. See Tech Notes For Alt. #216 - See G.M. Extra Ignition Diagram. #238 - See G.M. Passlock II Diagram.

Sounds like your missing second Ignition. White (+) at the barrel.

Will that also, stop the odometer & red battery light from lighting up?

yes..... running this truck with the second ignition disconnected can cause, signifigant transmission damage.... dont wait... fix it now, or remove it.
