if you want more specifics (including brand names, design, or software) just let me know. Also check out www.mp3car.com . I've done some extensive research there and pretty much have it planned.... just trying to keep it cheap (thus the trying to find a way around an aftermarket amp)

. The entire idea came about b/c i could pull it off for relatively nothing.
As for the amps and equalizer.... how sweet would it be to have surround sound for my dvd's in my car???
Definitely something worth looking into. One problem is i'm out of dash room.... my plans are to mold the screen into a combination of the HVAC Controls and the head unit since they are on relatively the same plane... then into the recessed cd player din would go the the HVAC Controls (until they create a reliable HVAC control for the computer over at mp3car.com
