I am running 2 Audiobahn AW1200Q subwoofers with a Audiobahn A8002T amo in a bandpass box someone had given me. Does anyone know if a bandpass box is bad for this kind of subwoofer. Like will it blow my subwoofer if I turn it all the way up? Or should I get a box that is made to the exact specs for the sub.

You should ALWAYS get a box that is to spec with the subs.

I doubt that sub would sound good in anything smaller then .8 cubic feet. Just because Audiobahn says that you can use it in a .5 cf enclosure dosn't mean it will sound as good as having it in a larger one (i'd go for a ported box probobly around 2.25 big).

I don't think it will "hurt" the sub, but I'm sure it would sound better in a sealed box.

obviously, it seems as though he may have enough power to make up for the SPL that will be lost in a sealed.
