A friend an I just did an install in his Cutlass but we've encountered a problem that has baffled us. The system consists of 3 12" 2ohm Kicker CVRs, a Hifonics Brutus 1500(mono), and a Rockford cap. The subs are wired at 1.34 ohms.  The amp is getting power fine and the digital readout on the cap is working, but the subs are getting no signal at all. We triple checked the RCAs and everything is fine. We switched between the two channels but still nothing. We went over all the sub wiring and it is perfect. It seems that even if the subs were wired wrong that something would come out of the speakers, even if it sounded bad and the amp would go into protection.  This is not the case though, we are getting absolutely no sound from the subs.
What gives?
