I need some help I hooked up my new kenwood cd player, I couldnt find a wiring harness for the 2004 saturns so I am just splicing the wires and I hooked eveyrthing up using the 2000 and up saturn wiring diagram and well my speakers are badly distorded.  Can anyone give me some ideas or does anyone know the colors of the speakers???  I have Back right +dark blue;-light blue: Back left +brown;-yellow: front left +tan;-gray: front right +light green;-dark green. and then I have like 4 extra wires I have a brown which is the illumination.  I have a dark blue?? a pink??? and I have an extra grey??  I dont know why my speakers are so distorded??  Please help??

You should take your speakers out and check the colours there.  If they don't match up with the wires behind the dash, then you probably have a factory amp in there.

You could call a saturn mechanic and ask him to look up the wire diagram for you too.

The saturn wires are the same color as the standard GM wires.  The new saturn harness will work in your vehicle but the speaker wires are in different locations.

Metra does make a harness for the new 2004 Saturns.  part # 70-2102

I need to find a positive battery terminal that will fit my car so I can put my 4 gauge kit in.  I have a 2004 Saturn Ion 3 and my battery is in my trunk and the terminal has rubber around it so I cant seem to get my wire on there???  Does anyone know what I need to get??

yes...it's called a GM battery tap or side post tap...we stock them from Lightning Audio but i know you can get them from a dozen different sources....

I did a 04 saturn Ion the other day and it just used the 32pin GM plug (not the relocation harness). Also the harness was removable from the deck like an after market so we just cut the plug in half and re-used it for the new radio.
