i'm just getting serious about a career in mobile electronics installation and i decided to give up $4000 on going to ITT in Florida and spend $1000 on my must need tools to get me started.... i was wondering on a couple of brands and specifics....

Air Compress.... looking at a 24gall 5.5hp tank and i was wondering would that do for my sanding projects (some one say i need at lease a 30 gall)

jig saw>... some recommended types and why?

what is a good tool for cuting out the perfect circles for subwoofers ? (price range?)

You will need a router with a circle jig. You could buy what is called a perfect circle from select products. Or you could do it the cheap way and build your own from 1/4 inch plexi, works better in my opinion.

You can't go wrong with any of the power tools from Porter Cable. DeWalt is very good too.

For circle guides I recommend the M200 from Jasper Audio. You can get it at Amazon for $33 including shipping. It's Plexiglass with a series of holes drilled in it. Pick your hole diameter, insert the pin and you're off to the races. Do a search at Amazon for "Jasper 200J Model 200 Circle Jig".
