OK, I installed a aftermarket cd player for my g/f's car.  When I called Circuit City for some advice on the installation process, the guy warned me that I was going to lose my dome lite.  It does not have keyless entry.  And the dome light does work but only when it is switched on, and not when the door trigger.  The guy told me I had to find the wire that triggers the door light and connect it properly together.  Any idea on how I would learn which one I need to do it with, or any idea on how to fix it at all?

In that extra, unused green plug behind the radio, there are simply two wires you must splice together.  After that, the domelight will function perfectly.

I always forget the colors...........my mind is telling me it's light GREEN/ red and light GREEN/ black..........but I could be completely dead wrong..........try to test the wires first, or at least get a couple more opinions before connecting them.
