I have my eye on the Panasonic model with 60w X 4. I don' t really have room for an amp that model would suit my needs perfectly.

the only thing to keep in mind with a high powered O/P stage is that they generate a lot of heat....you may find that you experience thermal problems if you run it loud over an extended period of time ( like a highway road trip ) ... the ambient heat created by the internal output stage really has nowhere to go and the weiny little heat sink on most HU's cannot dissipate it properly..... whereever possible i still recommend a separate amp to get that heat source out of and away from the HU.....
