hi all,

i'm having problems trying to get the door lock/unlock fuction to work. i'm using the 3 wire-negative relay diagram.  anyway, it didn't work.  i tried to connect the alarm outputs directly to the door switch without the relays and that didn't work either...  what am i doing wrong? any ideas/suggestion....

power lock     :   Purple (-)  Driver kick panel door harness

power unlock:  Light Green (-) Driver kick panel door harness

You should find those two wires first.    If you apply a negative ground (less then a sec) to the purple wire it would lock the doors and if you do the same to the light green then it would unlock the doors.

So you must add the green wire (H3/1 from the alarm) to the purple wire of the car in order to lock the cars.

And add the blue wire (H3/3 from the alarm) to the light green wire of the car to unlock the doors.

I'm just wondering why you are putting an automatic remote starter on a manual transmission vehicle.

datrick-i tried that the second time and it didn't work. i'll check the continuity today since it's daylight.

jworm-i'm actually not using the remote start function-don't need it at all.  i got the alarm for it's pager/remote and turbo timer compatibility.

any other ideas...?
