Nissan Quest ignition

I'm going to attempt to install a handsfree kit  for a cell phone in my 2001 Nissan Quest GLE.  One of the steps requires me to "Connect the blue ignition sense cable to the ignition of the car".

How do I go about doing this, i.e. Is it a simple wire splice or is there a point where I can attach it?  What color is the wire? 

If you can't already tell, I'm quite a novice.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Mike.

I printed the document.  So I take that to mean I splice it into the BLACK/ white wire coming from the ignition harness?

Most likely it'll run from your column to a fuse box or a connection or something right under the dash.  If you test for positive on each wire in the different key positions, you'll be able to identify what wire does what, so you don't get the wrong wire by accident.  Then, when you do find it, don't use just regular electrical tape.  it'll try up and peel eventually, causeing for the chance of a short out.  personally, i perfer liquid electrical tape (6 bucks at a hardware store) or shrink tube, which is very professional.  don't forget to soder(sp?) the connection while you're at it.
