I recently put in the Black Widow Z1 Alarm w/ remote start everything with the alarm works fine.  But I have yet to put in the starter kill/remote start.  I have read that cutting the starter wire before the fuse box will cause the check engine light to come on.  Instead of just trying it I was wondering if anyone has had this problem?  Also will I, and if so, how do I, wire up the clutch switch to bypass, and allow the starter to turn.  Yes it is a manual .  Thanks for all the help

I have never heard of this problem before, but then again, I have always cut this wire between the fuse block and the key cylinder, i would think this is probably easier anyway. don't forget your bypass module 555U or the other one for hondas I think it's 555H, but not sure on that one.
