I'm looking for the install guide for a 791XV, so I went to DEI's website and noticed that they took all their security install guides off and left only the audio? What gives?!?! Anyone have this problem?

DEI realized that people are selling their stuff on eBay and they try to prevent "Unauthorized" Installers from trying to install their products. You have to be a DEI dealer in order to access the install manuals.
If your email can support large attachments, I have the guide. Lemme know where I can send it. It's about 1.8MB.
Thanks
Chris.

so doesnt people on this site giving the install guides to non-authorized installers kind of defeat what DEI is trying to acheive??    which is to protect their own authorized dealer/installer network....

we authorized installers/dealers pay a premium to sell the product and install it.... why shouldnt all the non-authorized gumbies out there have to pay the same premium??

i always shake my head at authorized installers who get access to a limited/protected site and then give this access away to all their buddies, etc....  i view these guys as prostitutes who dont charge      lol
