I was trying to figure out what amplifier I would need to power 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10" Subs. Either I was going to use an Infinity Reference 610a (456W x 1; 657W x 1 @ 2ohms) or a Hifonics Brutus BX1000D (350W x 1 @ 4 ohms; 700W x 1 @ 2ohms). This might be an easy question to you guys, I know. Just keep in mind that I'm not the best with calculating Ohms and stuff like that, 'm still a beginner. Thanks.

I have the new infinity amps in my store right now and am not a t all impressed with their power ou put. They seem to sound very clear but have no balls at all. I havent ever played with Hi- Fonics so I cant really comment on those. Are your subs single voice coil or dual voice coil because thats gonna matter.

I haven't bought them yet. But i'm pretty sure they're dual 4-ohm. I just wanted to make sure and heve everything mapped out before I spent my money. I was looking for more of a clean sound with a little thump to it, but not anything that'll wake up the neighborhood. I know there are better sound quality subs, but the Perfects are the best ones within my price range. Thanks for responding to my post.

Sorry, I just looked them up. They're just 4-ohms. Thanks again.
