building a box for a pair of ORION XTR 12 SERIES 2 subs.
customer doesn't have any manuals. Can anybody help me out with the specs for this sub. i can use a generic box, but he would rather have a custom box built to spec.
checked orion website, but no help. or if anybody knows any websites i can check out
thanks in advance.

Patel, I hope that he has a large trunk and a nice amp.  These subs call for about 1.5 to 2 cubic ft. of air space in a sealed box and depending on what part of the year they were manufactured can hold up to about 500watts RMS.

They would definitely pound with about 300 watts RMS to each sub.

he's gonna push it w/ one on those old school orion xtr's (those super long black ones, i think its a 475.)

He really has me dreaming with that set-up... That's when amps were truley amps...  know days they are regulated too the point where they all do about the same thing...   Is he putting it in a hatch back, if so I think I have the dimensions for an Isobaric box...  I gave my orion XTR 12's to my brother about 5 yrs ago and the still sound like there new.  That's when they had lifetime warranty and 700 watts RMS..
