What's up everyone. I need to find out what is the color of the VSS wire in a 1997 Mercedes E320 and where it is located. I am installing Pioneer's AVIC-N1 Nav unit and that is why I need to find this wire. Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. Also how do I check if it is the proper wire...Do I just use a MM?

There is GREEN/ YELLOW wire at the harness but it shows 0v with the key off and 12V with key on...like an ACC wire, all other wires behind the radio are used. Could you tell me how I should test if this is a VSS wire?
Thank you.

Nevermind...auex you were right it was the Grn/Blk wire at the stereo harness, I was stupid enough to be measuring voltage instead of freq. I finished installing the Nav unit today and it works flawlessly.
Thanks auex.
