I've had a RS900VI installed in a 2000 Buick Lesabre for several months. Just recently it stopped remote starting on the first try. When you first press the button the lights come on as usual, but it will not turn over. If you try to start it again, it works perfectly fine.
Any ideas as to what would cause this?

it was probally installed as smart sensing and needs to be hooked up as tach sensing  , did it start giving problems when it got hot out if so yes hook it up red\white tack wire to the violet\white at the coil pack in the front of the  motor this will fix you up

The safety wire isnt grounded right? I believe in that model, its the green or gray wire. Make sure that wire isnt grounded.
