I've got a Mercedes 300D coming in for a deck install, and I haven't worked on one before but I have an idea as to what I'm looking at -- and if it's the setup I think it is, it ought to be fairly easy. I'm just looking for a confirmation or advice from anyone who has done one.

From what I know, there's a 50/50 chance that it'll be factory amplified, with two small amps located behind the rear seats. From pictures it looks like it ought to be pretty simple... DIN opening, simple wiring.

Any advice?

The last one we did had the two amps in the rear quarter panel behind the trunkliner. If it is this same set up you will also need to run an antenna extention as well.
